The small town of Vaison-la-Romaine (hardly 6'100 inhabitants) is situated in the departement of the Vaucluse in the French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Thanks to its situation, it is an ideal starting point for hikes in its mountainous surroundings.
