The small town of Buis-les-Baronnies (hardly 2'300 inhabitants) is situated in the departement of the Drôme in the French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Thanks to its situation at the foot of the Saint-Julien Rock and having the Mont Ventoux in sight, it is an ideal starting point for hikes in its mountainous surroundings.
