In spring 2002, a walking tour led us across the gorge to Lago Smeraldo (Emerald Lake), the picturesque reservoir at the entry of the gorge, and farther on to the mountains. During that tour met the plate presented here. It was fixed on a tree near the separate part of the lake you see on the photo.

This inscription made me have a dream. Such zones should be founded all over the world to prevent human beings from being killed. Best of all, let us declare the whole world as a no kill zone for human beings. But it would be necessary to extend the project to create "no hunger zones" which little by little cover the whole globe. Because it is insufficient not to kill...
Unfortunately is this only wishful thinking. Even the Fondo plate does not care of protecting human beings, but only some fish... And when the fish are big enough, they will be fished...
