Rovinj / Rovigno is one of the touristic pinnacles in the Croatian county of Istria, with about 14,300 inhabitants. It is located in the middle of the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. Formerly, Rovinj was an island but it is know connected to the continent.
In September, 2013, I had a 10 days' stay in Rovinj / Rovigno with my wife and two friends and took the following photos in the town. The superabundance of photos shows how much this town had charmed me. If there are some days without photos of Rovinj / Rovigno, we were then visiting other Istrian towns.
